The following rules apply to International students:

Are you a student from a non EU/EEA country, than you need a residence permit for study. A work permit (TWV) is required to work in addition to studies. The application is made through the UWV. Application lead time is 4 weeks on average. 

NB: the employment contract can never be longer than the end date of the study permit issued. The work permit application can be for working up to 16 hours a week or working full time in the months of June, July and August. ​​​​​​​
