Our university of applied sciences is affiliated with the Collective Labour Agreement for Higher Professional Education (CAO hbo), in which we, together with the trade unions, strive to reach agreements that benefit our staff and are based on being a good employer. The most important terms of employment are listed below.

Here's what you can count on at THUAS

Good salary

You will be scaled at a good salary appropriate to your position, according to the CAO hbo. 

Green travel scheme

100% reimbursement of your commute via an NS business card (2nd class).

Hybrid work

If your position allows, you can arrange your work partly from home.

Holiday allowance

In May, you will receive 8% holiday allowance, in addition to your regular salary.

Easy accessible workplace

Our campuses are easily accessible, both by bicycle and train.

End-of-year bonus

At the end of the year, you will receive a guaranteed year-end bonus of 8.3%.

Sustainable employment hours

Recharging your battery is important, which is why you can use your SE hours.

Generous leave scheme

Over 50 days of leave for full-time employment (including compulsory days off).

Local Employment Conditions

You can use your LEC funds for a massage or sports subscription, among other things.
